Encounter live dolphins in the Florida Keys
Have you ever wanted to swim with the dolphins in the Florida Keys? Hawks Cay’s ocean-fed saltwater lagoon is home to a friendly pod of bottlenose dolphins and the Dolphin Connection program. Unique experiences allow guests the opportunity to view, interact and learn about the dolphins and Florida’s marine ecosystem. If you’ve ever wanted to swim with the dolphins, Hawks Cay is the only resort in the mainland United States that offers dolphin viewing on site and a variety of interactive programs for every age.
Reservations are required for all of our Dolphin Experiences.

Guests with medical restrictions or special needs are required to email [email protected] or call (305) 289-9975 to make a reservation. There is a ramp to access the Dockside Dolphins experience. Please note that there are no lifts for the in-water experiences.

Dolphin Discovery

$229.99 per person for adults and children 12 years and older. $199.99 per person for childern 7 to 11 years old (accompanied by a paid adult participant 18 years or older). One paid adult participant per group of children. Participants must be 48 inches tall to participate in the Dolphin Discovery program. Children 48-54 inches must be accompanied by a paying adult (1 adult per child).This 45 min water interactive program includes melon rub, dolphin kiss, hug, deep water dance/handshake, belly tow and mimicries with a dolphin.

Dockside Dolphins

$99.99 per person for adults and children 6 years and older. $24.99 per person for childern 5 years and younger (accompanied by a paid adult participant 18 years or older). One paid adult participant per group of children. Children 2 and under are no charge but must be accompanied by a paid adult. This 30 min dry program includes interactions such as melon rub, handshake, and mimicries with a dolphin.

Dolphin Trainer for a Day

$379.99 per person. Must be 12 years old and at least 48 inches to participate. 48-54 inches must be accompanied by adult 18 years or older. This 3 hour educational program includes a Discovery, Royal, and Paint Add On.
Participants receive a water bottle, t-shirt and original dolphin painting.
