Right On Fishing Charters

Right On Fishing Charters at Hawks Cay Resort Marina offers fishing excursions inshore and backcountry from Big Pine Key to the Everglades Park. We offer light tackle fly fishing and spin fishing for Permit, Tarpon, Bonefish, Snook, Redfish, Barracuda, Shark, Snapper, Speckled Trout and anything else in the Keys waters.

Family fun fishing is available and welcomed with as few as 4 people per charter.  For those new to fly fishing, Right On Fishing Charters encourages beginners to come out and learn all aspects of fishing the Florida Keys gulf and the flats of Florida Bay.

Experienced anglers fishing on fly and spin will enjoy the best experience available—everything from sight fishing for the “Big Three” (Permit, Tarpon and Bonefish) to fishing the Gulf wrecks for Mackerel, Cobia, Snapper and Grouper. And if you’re lucky enough to visit when the weather is just right – which is most of the time down here in the Keys – you can fish the patch reefs and deep drop on some ocean wrecks aboard Right On as well.

Captain Mike O’Dell

Right On’s Captain Mike grew up in Michigan on the water, having fished ever since he can remember. He began guiding fly fishing in Northern California and Alaska 12 years ago and has spent the past 6 years guiding and fishing full time in the Florida Keys over 300 days a year. He is on the water every day either working or fishing on his days off, increasing his knowledge so he can give you the best opportunity to catch fish.

Contact us today and let Captain Mike O’Dell put you RIGHT ON the fish!
