Dining

Had a long day of deep sea fishing, kiteboarding, swimming or just catching some of our famous Florida sunshine? If you answered yes, then you need a cocktail! And not just any cocktail—we’re talking a Bullet Sinker, Honey Hole or Prancer’s Punch. Those fishing terms are actually drinks from the cocktail menu at Angler & Ale, our new restaurant located at the marina.

Until it opens, we’re giving you the chance to create a little Hawks Cay-inspired vacation at home with these drink recipes. We can’t provide the Florida sunshine, of course, but that’s what your next trip is for!

Bullet Sinker

1.5 oz. whiskey
2 lemon wedges
.50 oz. simple syrup
1 bar spoon blackberry jam
.5 oz. merlot

Shake first 4 ingredients and strain over fresh ice
Float red wine on top

Honey Hole

1.5 oz. bourbon
5 blueberries
5 basil leaves
.50 oz. honey
Soda water

Muddle berries and basil with honey
Add Ice and bourbon
Shake and top with soda
Drizzle with honey

Prancer’s Punch

Recipe:
1 oz. St. Germain Elderflower liquor
