Educational activities for kids at the best family resort in Florida

Calling all Hawks Cay Kids! We have some exciting news for you from one of the best family resorts in the Florida Keys. The fun concierge team here at Hawks Cay has rolled out a new environmental-based educational program at Camp Hawk. Hold it…We know what you’re thinking. Nobody wants to do schoolwork while they’re on vacation, but that’s what so genius about our new camp programming.

We hired the coolest teacher—and SCUBA-certified master diver—to create the curriculum for the program, which just so happens to support Florida’s Common Core standards. While all that should make your parents happy, it’s the awesome, hands-on activities that showcase our unique ecosystem that you’re going to love. Lessons range from Birds of a Feather to Dolphins vs. Sharks, and all provide an interactive opportunity to get up close and personal with the amazing wildlife in the Florida Keys like dolphins, turtles and all kinds of creepy crawlers.

The Camp Hawk Environmental Education Program is offered daily from 9 am – 1 pm for multiple grade levels: K-1st, 2nd-3rd and 4th-6th. For more information, check out the full list of activities or call us at (305) 289-4906 or ext. 1803 from the resort phones.
