Hawks Cay Resort Welcomes Robert Moore as New Resort Manager

Hawks Cay Resort, an iconic destination resort in the Florida Keys, announces the appointment of Robert Moore as the new Resort Manager. Joining the resort from a custom destination marketing organization in Nashville, Moore brings his operational expertise to the AAA Four Diamond resort.

Most recently, Moore served as General Manager of CSI DMC Nashville, where he successfully designed and serviced strategies with hotel partners. He has an extensive career in the hospitality industry, having worked with Gaylord Hotels as Hotel Manager and Vice President of Conference Management at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Md., and Vice President of Conference Management at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn.

"He is a seasoned hotelier who will streamline operational efficiencies, and his experience with meetings and conventions will be invaluable as we work to bring back group business post-COVID."

Moore began his esteemed career in hospitality with Sheraton, working in various capacities at several properties. He served as the Director of Convention Services at the Sheraton Washington, Director of Conference Service and Catering at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina before moving to the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers as the Director of Catering and Conference Center.

Moore earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Fla.
