Hawks Cay Resort Temporary Closure Information

March 27, 2020

Dear Hawks Cay Community,

During these challenging and uncertain times, Monroe County officials have decided to close the Florida Keys to visitors amid the COVID-19 global health crisis. LEARN MORE.

In accordance, Hawks Cay Resort will temporarily suspend operations this Sunday, March 22, 2020. We hope to reopen as soon as possible to welcome guests back to our tropical island paradise.

Guests with a reservation through April 12th, 2020 will receive a full refund. Refunds may take up to 10 days to process, so we ask that you bear with us. Guests who booked via online travel agents (Expedia, Travelocity, Booking.com, for example) or other third-party travel professionals are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies.

If you are hosting a group function during this time, a member of our sales team will be reaching out to you directly to discuss the opportunity to rebook at a future date or, if necessary, process cancelation of your event including a full refund of deposits due.

We understand the frustration and disappointment that comes with having to cancel your vacation plans, but this decision was made in the best interest of visitors, residents, and our larger global community.

To all our guests, we hope you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy. We truly look forward to seeing you whenever your travels bring you to Hawks Cay next.
