Hawks Cay Resort Celebrates Military, Police, First Responders, and Healthcare Heroes with Annual Heroes Salute Tribute

Hawks Cay Resort has opened its annual Heroes Salute program for bookings with stays starting, August 22, 2021. The seasonal program, which runs from August 22 to December 19, honors active and retired members of the military, fire rescue, law enforcement, and healthcare professionals by providing special room rates and discounted pricing on experiences and resort activities.

"Heroes Salute is always our most popular program of the year," said Sheldon Suga, Hawks Cay Resort vice president managing director. "We are honored that so many heroes visit our tropical island paradise with their friends and families each year for a much-deserved break. Considering what our healthcare workers and other service branches have been through this year, we're really looking forward to giving them something special to experience to thank them for their time and service."

While stays for Heroes Salute start on August 22, the program officially kicks off Labor Day Weekend with a fun-filled schedule of patriotic fun. Taking place September 4-6, the weekend-long event is jam-packed with activities including a 5K run/walk, live music concert, all-American barbeque, and a very special tribute ceremony featuring fireworks and much more.

Hawks Cay is also honoring heroes staying at the resort during a weekly tribute ceremony held at the Resort Pool every Saturday night through December 19. The video presentation includes photos provided by guests of all heroes whether still active, retired, or fallen. Submission can be uploaded online here.
