Turkey Time!!11/20/2012
It’s the month of November and the fishing has been red hot. The bay has a lot of Spanish mackerel, bluefish, jacks, snappers, sharks, and much more. bay fishing is a great way to bend the rods with some fish that put up a real good fight and to enjoy what the Florida keys has to over. The temperature has dropped a bit which makes for ideal fishing conditions as long as you bring a sweatshirt for the ride. Redfish has been outstanding and the permit fishing can be real good depending on the weather conditions and sunlight. . Short and sweet, if you have any question please doesn’t hesitate to call me and (931) 217-1244. Hope all have a wonderful thanksgiving and tight lines to all.

October Fishing10/06/2012
It’s been awhile since my last post, but time for an update on fishing in the beautiful Florida Keys. October is one of my favorite times of year for fishing. The bay is red hot with some general action with snapper, jacks, sharks ex... The flats are alive and the bonefish and permit fishing has been great. Tarpon fishing early in the morning can be real good; some of my favorite tarpon fishing is with light spinning tackle or fly gear. Targeting 4lb to 60 lb tarpon with 10 lb line and a 30 lb shock leader is straight awsome. feel fre to contact me if you have any question on the fishing here at Hawks Cay at (931)217-1244.
