Even though our deep sea fishing options are enough to satisfy almost any angler, many find our Florida Keys flats fishing to be a refreshing change of pace. The Hawks Cay Marina has two shallow draft charter boats designed especially for flats and backcountry waters:

Soc-Et-Tu-Um

This boat has built-in coolers owner Bill Whitney keeps plenty of ice-cold bottled water for all. Her crew can rig you up with light spin or fly tackle to match your skill level. Discover the thrill of hunting the elusive bonefish, permit and tarpon on the beautiful calm waters surrounding Hawks Cay. Or take a ride out to the shallow, clear waters of the Florida bay.

Rates for Soc-Et-Tu-Um (priced for 1 or 2 persons; a 3rd person can be added for $100):

Half Day - $400
Full Day - $600
4-Hour Live Bait Tarpon (in season) - $450

Light' N Up

This 19.5-foot Action Craft is best suited for two anglers (but capable of taking three) onto the Flats for bonefish, permit, or tarpon. Remember to ask about half-day outings to the Bay. Whether you are looking for fly fishing or light-tackle spin fishing, and whether you are a novice or an experienced angler, Captain Tom Seiling has the knowledge, skill, and patience to guide you.

Rates for Light’N Up (priced for 1 or 2 persons; a 3rd person can be added for $100):

Half Day - $400
Full Day - $600
4-Hour Live Bait Tarpon (in season) - $450
Half Day to the Bay - $575

Charter fishing Cancellation Policy: Should you cancel your charter within 5 days (120 hours) prior to the scheduled departure of the charter, we will charge a cancellation fee of half the cost of the charter. If you cancel your charter within the last 24 hours prior to scheduled departure, we will charge full cost of the charter. Cancellations are to be made only with the Dock Office of Hawk's Cay Marina at 305-743-9000, option #2. Upon cancellation you will receive a "cancellation number." Please retain this number for confirmation of the cancellation. Captains make all weather decisions related to charters. Should your captain cancel your charter due to inclement weather, there will be no charge to you.
