Dog days of summer!07/28/2011
It's been really hot here. Not just the weather, but the fishing. While dolphin fishing can be hot or cold, the reef and wreck fishing for mutton snapper, grouper and mangrove snapper remains red hot. Fishing the Florida Keys in summer is a great adventure. Give us a call to book a fishing charter at 305-743-9000 and ask for the Final Final.

Wreck fishing is fantastic!05/31/2011
I've been saying the wreck fishing is hot all season and it still is. It's better than ever with the grouper back in season. We're catching fish with some nice size to them and having a blast. The warmer weather has the mahi fishing getting better too. And of course when we're mahi fishing there's always the shot at nice tuna, too!! Florida Keys fishing is hot, hot, hot! Come on down and find out for yourself.

Winds a blowin04/08/2011
The wind is blowing, but the boats are going. The sailfishing has become very good. Along with scattered dolphin and cobias. While the reef fishing has remained steady. If you don't like the wind, we can always go in the bay on the Eagle Eye.

Finally a free moment to blog03/30/2011
I'd much rather talk fishing than type fishing. And I have been talking fishing to lots of people on the dock and I had a fishing seminar last night at Marathon Boat Yard. Tried to help a lot of anglers with their wreck fishing. While the sailfishing has slowed down, the reef fishing has picked up. We're catching yellowtail snappers, mangrove snappers and mutton snappers. We're catching lots of groupers, which unfortunately are out of season until May 1st. Still it's fun to fight them to the boat and then release them. The dolphin are starting to trickle into the Keys and should be full on by mid April. So for some fun time on the water and to talk more about fishing...come on down to our island paradise and spend a day on the water.

Fishing in the Keys is great in 201101/10/2011
We were out today and caught 20 really nice mangrove snappers, a mutton snapper and some yellowtails and mackeral. Our anglers will be eating good tonight. Tom's Harbor House will be preparing their fresh fish just the way they like it. Since the water has cooled down the cobias have showed up and the sailfishing is good, too!! Come on down the the tropical Florida Keys and Hawks Cay Resort for some spectacular weather and a great offshore fishing experience.
