The Premier Florida Keys Family Resort

Hawks Cay is so not like those other "kid-friendly" resorts. There are actually some pretty fun things for us to do here on our Florida Keys vacation! We can paint coconut shells, make tie dye t-shirts, go swimming and snorkeling, set sail on tiki boats in the saltwater lagoon, compete in exciting sporting events and contests, and hang out with kids our own age at "Kids Night Out" parties. There are even special spa packages for girls to get their nails done with their BFF (or mom)! How cool is that?

Hawks Cay also has a place called The Cove, where we can play the best video games ever! They have an X-Box, a Nintendo Wii, a Sony PlayStation, a Madden arcade game, and computers with safeguarded internet access so we can keep up with our friends back home. Plus there are fun events each day that the whole family can attend. That way mom and dad won't miss out on all the fun.

Indies club

This isn't your typical kids club. Indies Club features swimming pools, sports venues, great food, a spa next door, and all sorts of programs and events to make sure you have an awesome time on your Florida Keys vacation.

Can my tweens come to the Indies Club during the day by themselves?

Children ages 13+ do not need to be accompanied by an adult. Just be sure to have the room key!

Will my tween enjoy camp?

Children of all ages enjoy our camp. Our counselors are very good about incorporating games and activities that children of all ages can do together.

Can tweens come to Teen Night Out?

Technically Teen Night Out is for ages 13+. With parent's permission we have let 12 year olds into the program. They will need to be signed in and out of the camp by a parent or accompanied by an older sibling.

Do my tweens have to sign up for the activities?

Tweens can come to activities and games by themselves as long as their parents are on the Indies Club property and they do not need to sign up.

Can my tweens rent bikes without a parent?

We do ask that children under 16 years of age have a parent's signature to rent the bike out. Florida law also states that children under the age of 16 have to wear a protective helmet (included in rental).
