Where do the teens hang out if there is not a Teen Night Out?
You can find a lot of the teens hanging out at the saltwater lagoon and the Indies Club. We are always trying to set up volleyball and basketball tournaments and other fun contests for teenagers.
What will teens do at Teen Night Out?
Teen Night Out is a great way for teens to meet other teens staying at the resort. They have access to the game room 8pm to 10pm, as well as an opportunity to play basketball and volleyball, and participate in other exciting games and competitions. Teen Night Out availability varies by season. Contact Hawks Cay Resort for details.
Do teens have to be signed into the camp?
Teens do not need to be signed into the camp by an adult. They will sign themselves in at 8pm, and out at 10pm. Transportation can be called to get them back to their villa or hotel room.
Can teens come to the Indies Club during the day by themselves?
Children 13 and older do not need to be accompanied by an adult. Just be sure they have their room key!
Does Teen Night Out serve dinner?
No, but a drink and snack (popcorn, chips, etc.) is included with the $5 cover charge.
Are there any daily activities for Teens?
Teens are more than welcome to participate in our arts and crafts and pool competitions. We will separate age groups to keep the competition fair!
Can teens rent bikes without a parent?
We ask that children under 16 have a parent's signature to rent a bike out. Florida law also states that children under the age of 16 have to wear a protective helmet (included in rental).
Can teens buy things without their parents being there?
Teens can buy things at the Indies Club and Indies Grill but will need to have a room key.
Are there teen activities at the main pool and lagoon?
Absolutely! We have mini kayaks races in the lagoon, and cannonball competitions in the main pools and off the floating dock. Plus much more!
Do you have to sign up for Teen Night Out?
It is not necessary to sign up ahead of time for Teen Night Out. Just remember that there is a $5 cover charge.
