To Whom it may concern:
I recently organized a group of 30 people to stay at Hawk’s Cay for a 5 night period. Our event included a two day meeting, meals on property, and some good ol’ relaxing! All I can say is WOW! From the moment we arrived, I was impressed. The service was spectacular. Every single person who works at Hawks Cay was very attentive to my groups’ needs at any time and was able to get anything any member of my group anything they asked for.
The facilities were wonderful as well. The moment I walked it I felt like a weight had lifted off my shoulders because I knew I would be in good hands. The accommodations were incredible and the service was impeccable. I have never met an A/V representative like Mike who was so focused on all of our needs. Anything we wanted happened in a split second. Our meeting room was set up perfectly, with the exact amount of space for each attendee (which was a specified amount).
The food and beverage captains also double and triple checked to make sure everything was accurate. The rest of the catering crew could not have been more impressive. They would remove any trash the minute we were done. It was amazing.
Susan Raible was really the single individual that took this meeting and trip from meeting my expectations to ABOVE and BEYOND my expectations. She was there for my group the entire time. Ever since we began planning the meeting she knew exactly what we wanted and how we wanted it. I never needed to explain things more than once, she got it right away, and that saved me so much time and energy.
Not only did she follow up on a regular basis throughout the planning process, which happened over an 11 month time period, but she constantly checked in on us while we were at the resort. It was as if we were her only client EVER, that’s how special she made us feel!
Anything we needed Sue could get for us and anything that we didn’t need, but added to the trip, she already had! Sue definitely thought of everything to make the trip top notch that I felt like I didn’t have to worry about anything. I organize over 5 large meetings a year for the President of Moe’s and that NEVER, EVER happens! Hands down Sue made our trip, and that’s all there is to it.
I would not only recommend Hawks Cay to family and friends for a wonderful and relaxing get away, but more importantly, I would recommend it to my colleagues for Corporate meetings and functions. In my eyes, Hawk’s Cay, is the top of the top and anyone that gets to go there and experience what we did is very, very lucky.

I was extremely fortunate to be on the Florida Team with JJ Waters from Elite Meeting Alliance. We had on the green bandanas! I believe the question was show what you want the world to have or something like that.
Although we came in 8th place out of 25 teams, I think we had the most fun… Oh Yeah... we definitely had the most fun!!!

I just wanted to send you a quick note regarding my recent stay at Hawk's Cay Resort.
Several of my colleagues and I (RLG International) spent four days using your facilities for our strategic planning for the upcoming year. We could not have been more pleased with our experience. The facilities were perfect for our needs and provided all of the amenities we required in a beautiful and relaxing setting. We hold many such events each year, and I cannot remember a place that better accommodated our needs.
Even more impressive than the facilities was the professional, courteous, and attentive service we received from your staff. At every step along the way, we were treated as valued guests of your resort. That level of service is what made the difference between a good experience and a great experience for our group.
Although your entire team was fantastic, I would especially like to recognize the efforts of Barry Reidy. She made sure that we had everything set up for a successful and enjoyable trip. When my boss was unable to finalize arrangements for this trip due to a death in his family, Barry made sure that I was brought up to speed quickly and made finalizing the rest of the itinerary a painless experience. She was always professional but also added a personal touch so that we felt more like guests rather than just paying customers. Whether it was making sure our IT needs were met in the meeting room, coordinating events such as fishing and jet skiing, or just checking in throughout the day she was always working to make sure our event went smoothly.
Thank you for providing such a great experience for me and my team. I am sure we will be back soon to host another event for our company. I know that many of us now plan on making personal trips back with family and friends as well.

Dear Susan,
I am embarrassed that it has taken me so long to write a proper thank you for the lovely and enjoyable time that my husband and I enjoyed at your beautiful resort.
Our stay at Hawks Cay Resort and Marina allowed us a delightful respite to remember during these sad times and both of us want to thank you for the many special touches you provided during our stay. From the special goodie basket that included a much-favored Hawks Cay water bottle to the the fruit basket and the champagne gift package, each special thing that you did was much appreciated. You and your staff truly made us feel like VIP guests.
It was our first visit to the Florida Keys and we hope that we will be able to visit this beautiful paradise many times in the future. We were so surprised to learn that we didn't have to go outside of the USA borders to experience the beautiful Caribbean climate and colors that we so crave during the long and frosty Maryland winters.
Please know that we sincerely appreciated your wonderful hospitality and your sharing the many amenities of your beautiful resort with us. And please accept our apologies for waiting so long to send you this much overdue thank you

Dear Susan,
We did have a choice where to hold our annual fishing tournament; however, our choice is the only choice for first-class facilities, service, ambience and delectable food selections in the Florida Keys; Hawks Cay Resort and Marina.
I simply say A+ to all the folks at Hawks Cay who helped make our May 14, 2011 weekend such a huge success.
Michael stepped right in and did not miss a beat when Victoria left shortly prior to our big event. Jessica Roon is always a professional and personally delightful. Beverly and Jason make our marina event run smoothly and efficiently. Beverly treats every angler as if they are her best client! Of course, Brent has done an exemplary job with a 100% improvement in the reservations department.
Since Sheldon arrived on property there has been a huge improvement in the overall management of the property. You notice it when you arrive from the friendliness of the first greeting throughout the entire marina and resort areas. There is an overall attitude of happiness and willingness to help the guests. Sheldon has made distinct choices in the folks he retained and those he has brought to the resort.
I offer my heartfelt thanks to everyone who honored me at the pre-con meeting. It was a complete surprise and a very touching moment. The champagne and cake were delicious especially after my drive from Ft. Lauderdale. My fabulous tote bag filled with goodies from the marina is now my favorite tote! Naturally, the spa treatment was delightful. I will always cherish the memories of the kindness and thoughtfulness exhibited by everyone.
Hawks Cay is the place to play and stay in the Florida Keys! Susan, thank you for all you have done to assist me with ECA’s major fundraiser of the year!
