Our culinary Associates are responsible for the preparation and execution of our restaurant and banquet culinary offerings. With a variety of restaurants at Hawks Cay Resort, a Sous Chef may be assigned to one or more outlets. Responsible for the training, coaching and execution of outstanding guest meals, a Sous Chef will run the kitchen both efficiently and safely. An excellent communicator, a Hawks Cay Resort Sous Chef will motivate our Associates to learn and develop their culinary skills while providing memorable guest experiences.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• 5 years previous culinary experience required
• 1 year Supervisory experience required
• Must be able to frequently lift 25 – 50 lbs. safely
• Must be able to spend long periods standing
• Must speak/read/write English fluently
• Proficiency in the following software preferred; MS Word, Excel, computer-based purchasing systems
