Restaurant Cook

Our culinary Associates are responsible for the preparation and execution of our restaurant and banquet culinary offerings. With a variety of restaurants at Hawks Cay Resort, Associates are assigned to an outlet but may rotate to other outlets based on business demands. In addition to cooking, our Cooks are also responsible for cleaning and organizing their work areas and performing to all sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous culinary experience required
• Ability to read and write English to learn menu and techniques
• Must be able to frequently lift 25 – 50 lbs. safely
• Must be able to spend long periods standing

Restaurant Server

Our restaurant servers may work at one of the 5 restaurants Hawks Cay Resort has to offer. Servers are responsible for communicating effectively with guests to take orders, recommend items, provide information about the menu and the resort, as well as be able to serve and prepare guest checks with accuracy. Servers will also work with other Associates in the restaurants to ensure cleanliness and sufficient product supply.



Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous serving experience required
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Must be able to frequently lift 25 – 50 lbs. safely
• Must be able to spend long periods standing and extended walking

Lead Restaurant Cook

Our culinary Associates are responsible for the preparation and execution of our restaurant and banquet culinary offerings. With a variety of restaurants at Hawks Cay Resort, Associates are assigned to an outlet but may rotate to other outlets based on business demands. The Lead Restaurant Cook will be responsible for all the duties of a Cook and will lead the team in the absence of the Sous Chef or Executive Chef. The Lead Restaurant Cook will also be the primary trainer for new Associates.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• 5 years previous culinary experience required
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to read and write English to learn menu and techniques
• Must be able to frequently lift 25 – 50 lbs. safely
• Must be able to spend long periods standing

With a variety of restaurants at Hawks Cay Resort, a Sous Chef may be assigned to one or more outlets. Responsible for the training, coaching and execution of outstanding guest meals, a Sous Chef will run the kitchen both efficiently and safely. An excellent communicator, a Hawks Cay Resort Sous Chef will motivate our Associates to learn and develop their culinary skills while providing memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• 5 years previous culinary experience required
• 1 year Supervisory experience required
• Must be able to frequently lift 25 – 50 lbs. safely
• Must be able to spend long periods standing
• Must speak/read/write English fluently
• Proficiency in the following software preferred; MS Word, Excel, computer-based purchasing systems
