Q: Do you have a special menu for Thanksgiving Dinner? There will be 10 of us staying for the weekend and we wanted to have Thanksgiving Dinner at Alma.
A: Dear Stein family. We will be offering a Thanksgiving dinner buffet in the Terrace restaruant. We have three seatings available: 4-5:30pm 6-7:30pm 8-9:30pm Toms Harbor House along with Alma will be offering fall menus with a Thanksgiving inspired special for that evening. A: Good Morning Graham, You may certainly book your holiday meal will us! We have not finalized our offerings at this point however if you would like to reserve a space we can accommodate you and send you a menu as soon as it is complete. We will offer two different types of dinners. We will have a holiday themed buffet with classic American dishes for a set price as well as a’la carte offerings available in Alma (our signature restaurant). A: Good Afternoon Kim, We consider our dress code "island elegance". For us that means anything that will make you feel more comfortable and relaxed then you normally would. Shirts and footwear are always required in Alma however sandals are an acceptable form of footwear. Q: I recently made reservations on your online website for the 24th of September. I didn't get to put the time or request the location on there. I was wondering if my husband and I could dine outside at 8:00 in the evening?

Q: I would like to have a recipe for the calabaza soup, I love it. Thank you
A: Good Afternoon Auroa, We are thrilled that you enjoyed the soup! Here is the recipe: Calabaza soup Ingredients: - 5lb calabaza diced - 3 big Spanish onions - 3oz white wine - 3oz stock (vegetable or chicken) - 4 lb coconut milk - 3 oz lemon grass - Paprika - S&P Sauté the diced calabaza with the onions and lemon grass until they get soft. Add some paprika for color and flavor. Add white wine and stock, let it almost completely reduce before you add the coconut milk. Let it cook for 20 min. Remove the lemon grass and blend the rest. Salt and pepper to taste Add more liquid until you have a nice consistence. Serve with whipped crème and roasted calabaza seeds Bon Apetit! Getting to Alma

Alma is located at Hawks Cay Resort, midway down the Florida Keys on the beautiful island of Duck Key. To get to Alma, take US-1 to mile marker 61 and follow the signs to Hawks Cay's lobby. Our valets will gladly park your vehicle and direct you to the restaurant.
