Guests that snorkel or SCUBA aboard the Seafari have the added bonus of being able to spearfish the waters of Hawks Cay. The Seafari has a commercial fishing/lobstering license that covers any of our guests on board. There is no additional cost to add exciting Florida spearfishing to your snorkel or scuba adventure, but we strongly recommend that anyone new to spearfishing participate in our specialty spearfishing course. Then, it’s off to enjoy over 30 dive sites available at which Duck Key spearfishing is allowed.
All compressed-air activities are limited by age and health conditions. Guests with asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, or any other major health condition may be excluded from participation.
Spearfishing divers are responsible for bringing their own equipment (rentals of spearfishing equipment are not available, but some equipment is available for purchase). All equipment must be in compliance with state and federal laws.
